Our default prep inlet flow for calibration is 5 mL/min. In order to assure optimum pressure drop across the splitter, please specify the prep inlet flow if it is significantly different from the default calibration prep inlet flow rate. You can specify the prep inlet flow (mL/min.) within a range of 1 - 10 mL/min. under Custom Specification field.

 

Note:

To check if the low flow capillary resistor is clogged, you can disconnect the capillary resistor from the make up inlet tee, run the splitter at approximately 1,000 PSI, and look for flow out of loose end of capillary.  You will need to give it some time to accumulate.  If the low flow capillary resistor is clogged, you will need to order Adjustable Makeup-Flow Splitter, Low Flow Capillary Resistor, ASI P/N: 690-POCR https://www.hplc-asi.com/adjustable-makeup-flow-splitter-low-flow-capillary-resistor/.
