The low swept volume of this guard column maintains the efficiency of high performance columns assuring a negligible loss of critical resolution. With its simple design, this guard column installs in any analytical column in seconds.

Port and Male compatibility:

Halo compatible:  works for Halo, Parker, Agilent, and most other manufacturers except Waters.  It would still be used with Waters, but with extra space at bottom of port.

Waters compatible:  works for Waters

How to tighten Guard Column Holder to Column:  Simply tighten the guard column housing assembly with a 7/16" wrench until it is snug, followed by an additional 1/4 turn.

Maximum torque to tighten Guard Column Holder Male Housing to Female Housing:  Approximately 5-6 ft-lbs.
